'60s TWIST 'N TURN

The Twist 'N Turn Barbie™ doll was introduced with the first swivel waist design at the forefront of fashion. An innovative body mold and bendable legs allowed for more posing options, making this Barbie™ doll a treasured collectible.

70's SUPERSTAR

Created by Mattel in 1968 as Barbie™'s companion, the Christie™ doll pioneered the introduction of the first Black Barbie™ doll in 1980. The original packaging proclaimed “She's Black! She's beautiful! She's Dynamite!”, the Dynamite Barbie™ doll revolutionized the toy world for everyone.

80's ROCKERS

The Barbie and the Rockers™ doll line was launched reflecting the music, fashion and youth culture of the era. Inspired by the cultural influence of MTV, the series created a group of five dolls, each with a different background, representing a diverse generation of music.

80's PEACHES 'N CREAM

Reflecting the glamour of the 1980s, the Peaches 'N Cream Barbie™ doll has become a collector's favorite. This Barbie™ doll was the first and only model to be painted by Andy Warhol, immortalizing Barbie™'s cultural connection to the world of art and fashion.

80's WEST KEN™

The Western Ken™ doll was introduced on horseback as part of the Western Barbie™ line (horse named Midnight sold separately) to emphasize the “Ken can do anything” message. Continuing the fun since 1961, the first Ken™ doll was released just two years after the success of the Original Barbie™ doll.
